Review: Ghost-Spider #8 (Marvel Comics)

Gwen Stacy’s multi-dimensional adventures continue in Ghost-Spider . Once again, we’re reminded of all the differences in Gwen’s universe, not least of which is the difference between the classic heroes we know and their alternates in other dimensions.

Tapas Tuesdays: Who Made Me a Princess?

I want to call Who Made Me a Princess? A cute series, but it probably has too many heavy undertones for that to apply. Our leading lady has a lot of trauma in her life – both lives. But the good news is that she has an indomitable personality, which means she will win this world over. One person at a time.

Manga Monday: My Wonderful World, Vol. 1

Oh wow. I went into My Wonderful World, Vol. 1, not knowing anything about it (I like the occasional surprise, so going in knowing nothing can be fun), and wow! I was blown away. Poor Shinobu. It's easy to empathize with this protagonist and all of his struggles.

Review: Farmhand #19

While I may be behind in reading Farmhand, I can say with complete honesty it is worth getting caught up in. How do I know? Even after all these months, Farmhand hit me right in the feels – and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Review: Ghost-Spider #7 (Marvel)

Gwen Stacy, aka Ghost-Spider, hails from Earth 65. In this universe, things and people tend to be vastly different from what we're used to seeing. Ghost-Spider further reinforces that fact as we get to know two variants of fan-favorite heroes.

Tapas Tuesdays: Scintilla Desiderata Comics

Scintilla Desiderata Comics is one of my favorite comics, even if it is complete. It's fun, light, and has a dose of relatable humor. If you've ever dealt with mental health issues or an oddball cat, you'll be able to smile at the events that happen within this comic.

Review: Hella Chill Monsters, Vol. 1

We've heard hundreds of variations of what the afterlife can bring us. Now it's time to see a new take on Limbo, aka Limbo City. To some, it's a perfectly fine way to spend eternity. For others, like Bonzo Scalobania, it can get quite dull.

Review: The Variants #5 (2022)

Gail Simone's famous series comes to a conclusion in The Variants . I'll admit, I'm sad to see it go. This series was phenomenal. Not only did it take risks (and have fun doing so), but it hit as hard as Jessica Jones. I don't think I need to explain how hard that is!
