WOTN Review: Sea of Stars #2 (Image Comics)

Frequently, when you hear somebody talking about the distance between father and son, you know it to be in the figurative sense. But this statement takes on a whole new meaning in Sea of Stars. All Gil Starx wants to do is take care of his son, but a certain and rather major complication has turned up that makes that a bit difficult for him.

Series Binge: Fire Force Vol. 9

I think it's safe to say that I have mixed feelings about Fire Force Vol. 9. On the one hand, a lot of plot advancement is happening here (not to mention a lot of info we've desperately been waiting for). On the other hand, at least one of the fights in this volume made me want to scream – and not in a good way.

Review: Wynd Book Three: The Throne in the Sky

We've all heard the story before. Those without will always fear magic in a city where magic is possible. In this case, the city has opted to ban magic and hunt all who dare be born with those magical properties. This was the world Wynd was born into. Thankfully, there is also kindness in the world, as evidenced by the woman who found and raised him.
