Manga Monday: Gachiakuta Vol. 2

I was too curious about Gachiakuta to pass up the second volume! The first volume introduced us to an interesting character and a dangerous world. The second volume? Well, it lets us see more of the stakes and the situation Rudo has fallen into (literally).

Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 5

I’ll confess that I’m still extremely curious to see where Solo Leveling will take us. What heights will Jinwoo reach before the end - and what event signals the end, for that matter? That made me eager to dive into Solo Leveling Vol. 5.

Manga Monday: My Next Life as a Villainess Vol. 9

Eee! I'm so happy to finally have My Next Life as a Villainess Vol. 9! But I was also a bit hesitant, as this is the last of Witch Hat Atelier until May (2024). I know it's not a huge wait, but still! I've gotten used to binging the series.

Whew. The power scale sure is shifting fast! I think Solo Leveling Vol. 4 may have upped the scales the most thus far. At least, it feels that way. Basically, once [spoiler ability] got unlocked, all bets went off the table.

WOTN Review: The Marked #5 (Image Comics)

The Marked #5 wraps up the first plot arc and volume of the series, and it does so with gusto. The Marked portrays the darker sides of magic. Where temptation and corruption can take root. Yet there is always a shining beacon, even in a series like this.
