In celebration of all the fears that Marvel and Thor have accomplished, Marvel has decided to put out one seriously memorable issue. Enter Thor: The Worthy #1. This issue brings together some of our favorite contributors to the world of Thor while giving others a chance to shine as well.
Manga Monday: Tamon’s B-Side Vol. 1
Tamon's B-Side Vol. 1 is pretty much any fangirl's (or boy's) dream come true. We have a dreamy boy band, a die-hard fan, and what is essentially a meet-cute but in a unique way. It's a cute setup, to say the least.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 34
Holy cats. My Hero Academia Vol. 34 packs a whole lot of punch. Well, it's more like punches, as there's more than one arc in this volume. We have the obvious – Star and Stripe. She's intense and exactly what this war needed.
WOTN Review: Thor & Loki: Double Trouble #3
Thor & Loki: Double Trouble #3 is about to continue the tale of two iconic Marvel siblings. This series is perfect for fans who adore either brother but have been hoping to see a more light-hearted version than what the MCU most recently portrayed (looking at you, Infinity War).
Manga Monday: The Knight Blooms Behind Castle Walls Vol. 1
The Knight Blooms Behind Castle Walls Vol. 1 is a light, cute, and humorous introduction to the world of knights and fantasy. It’s very much a slice-of-life manga, with Rosa’s story told through various little interactions and events.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 33
This marks the end of my re-read! I'm so stoked to have gotten to My Hero Academia Vol. 33, not just because it means new stuff (for me) will soon follow, but because I'm happy with the end of this arc.
WOTN Review: Thor & Loki: Double Trouble #1 (Marvel)
Marvel just started another new series, and this one is perfect for all the fans out there who need something a bit lighter. And a lot more fun! Thor & Loki: Double Trouble #1 begins a tale of chaos and adventures surrounding two iconic brothers.
Manga Monday: Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits Vol. 2
Aww. Poor Aoi. She keeps finding herself in formidable positions, and it seems like it essentially has to do with her compassion. Still, I enjoyed reading Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits Vol. 2. Even when Aoi and her situation gave me anxiety.
Series Binge: The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 8
So, full confession: I had caught up in the anime by the time I sat down to read The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 8. As such, most of this volume was familiar to me. That said, it is 100% worth taking the time to read and watch.
WOTN Review: Thor #13 (Marvel)
There is nothing more satisfying – or terrifying – than seeing an old plot arc come back to bite our beloved characters in the back. But that is exactly what we've been seeing in the most recent arc of Thor, and Thor #13 is set to up that ante.
