Manga Monday: Break of Dawn

I was immediately drawn to Break of Dawn, thanks to the promise of being perfect for Cowboy Bebop fans. Who could resist that sort of temptation, right? That said, I loved this tale much less than I hoped.

Once again, behind on the times, I'm trying to catch up on all the series I've missed out on. One such series is The Silver Coin, a horror anthology created by several of my favorite comic writers and authors. A big no-brainer for why I needed to read it!

Review: Soma

Soma is such a strange yet fun tale; I don’t even know where to begin. It takes one comic book artist (ironic, I know) on a grand adventure that involves aliens and saving the world. The characters, even the human ones, are completely out of this world in the best of ways.

Review: You and Me on Repeat

If you’re looking for a good novel with time loop shenanigans (think Groundhog Day), I have good news! You and Me on Repeat is a fantastic read that fits the bill. In addition to having all the chaos of a time loop, it has a romantic focus and a coming-of-age element.

Manga Monday: Blood Blade Vol. 1

Dracula as a sword master in the modern world? Well, color me curious. Blood Blade Vol. 1 is a dynamic beginning to a world where Dracula has been reborn, again as a vampire, but this time as a woman with katana skills.
