Review: Spy x Family Vol. 13

Whew. After that cliffhanger ending, I was biting my nails while waiting for Spy x Family Vol. 13! It was a rough wait, but it was pretty worth it. This volume quickly wraps up all that tension before throwing readers into a few slice-of-life style chapters, which is a refreshing break from all the rushing around.

Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 11

Whew. I did not expect some of what happened in Solo Leveling Vol. 11. I know we’re getting pretty close to wrapping up, so sudden stake shifts and twists shouldn’t be surprising, yet here we are.

Review: Dawn of X Vol. 2

At this point, I think I’m fully caught up in what I had read from the Krakoan era (yeah, I hadn’t gotten far before I got distracted, and I hate that). I’m happy to be making new progress with this story and am eagerly awaiting a few anticipated reveals and twists.

Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 10

Review: Steeple

So, I typically try to avoid overtly religious tales because I don’t like getting certain themes or points shoved in my face. That said, I love John Allison, so I wanted to give Steeple a try. Side note: I read this series when it first released, in single-issue format. But I wanted to re-read it and make sure I didn’t miss any surprises or endings (I didn’t, I just want more).
