Review: Spy x Family Vol. 14

Spy x Family is one of those series I can count on to cheer me up, and Spy x Family Vol. 14 is no exception. I kid you not, this volume had me laughing out loud, especially when it came to taking a closer look at Anya’s grades. Also, can we all agree that Mr. Henderson would (probably) approve of this cover?

Review: Secrets of the Silent Witch (Light Novel) Vol. 1

So, I recently discovered a magical series called Secrets of the Silent Witch, and I am hooked. I started by watching all of the anime currently available, then started reading the manga. Then I decided that I actually wanted to read the light novels, since there’s far more of that. So yeah, I’m hooked. No turning back now.

Review: Suitor Armor Vol. 2

If you are not reading this series, you’re seriously missing out. Suitor Armor is an enchanting series revolving around a fairy in hiding (Lucia) inside the palace walls of a kingdom very much at war with the fairies. Obviously, there are layers to this story, but it’s so fun and compelling all in one.

Review: Uncanny X-Men Vol. 2: The Dark Artery

Where the last volume introduced new characters and brought a different team together, Uncanny X-Men Vol. 2 took everything a step further. We still have our favorites on the team (have I mentioned how much I love having a Rogue-led team?), but things are morphing and changing.

Review: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 13

Every series needs a volume or two that wrap up previous plots, and for Witch Hat Atelier, that’s volume 13. That’s not a bad thing, as a lot has been going on. This volume helps to wrap up some loose ends from the current arc, while driving home the dangers of forbidden magic (duh).

Review: The Great British Bump-Off

Okay, so I’m a huge fan of John Allison and Max Sarin. I also adore Agatha Christie and the Great British Baking Show, so I was primed to love this series from the start. As such, I might be biased when I say that The Great British Bump-Off was a hilarious read.
