WOTN Review: The Marked #5 (Image Comics)

The Marked #5 wraps up the first plot arc and volume of the series, and it does so with gusto. The Marked portrays the darker sides of magic. Where temptation and corruption can take root. Yet there is always a shining beacon, even in a series like this.

Review: Crave

I'm not going to lie – I 100% picked up Crave to read because of that cover. It's stunning! I knew right away that I would love Maria Llovet's art style, and I was right. While I didn't end up loving the whole of the story, I did appreciate the art the whole way through.

Have you ever found yourself hoping for a series that blends Lady and the Tramp themes with Silence of the Lambs? Well, good news! That is exactly what Stray Dogs promises. So get ready to cry, and probably get a little bit scared at times. You know, just in case.

Wow. I wish I could leave my review at "wow" because that accurately sums up how I felt upon finishing The Cull Vol. 1. This book is A LOT, but in the best ways possible. It's dark, emotional, tense, and fascinating, all in one.

WOTN Review: Sea of Stars #5 (Image Comics)

Sea of Stars #5 brings us back to the insane journey that Gil and his son, Kadyn, have been thrown into. This entire series has been an emotional rollercoaster. It takes the whole father/son dynamic and throws it into space. And thus, it adds a surprising amount of twists along the way.
