My Noisy Roommate: The Roof Over My Head Comes With Monsters and a Hottie Vol. 1 may just win the award for the longest title I’ve read (this month). It’s a mouthful. That said, it’s also an entertaining series!
Manga Monday: A-DO 1
I don’t know why, but while I was reading A-DO 1, I felt like this story I should have read/heard about ages ago (like when I first got into manga). Either it just has that vibe, or this is a new translation of a classic. I could see it going either way.
Manga Monday: Number Call
Okay, this is a cute story. Number Call may not be the deepest of romances (at least initially), but it is cute and sweet. Basically, our two leading gentlemen meet because of their name similarities (both being the number eight).
Manga Monday: Wotakoi Vol. 1
An awkward romantic comedy? Sign me up! But seriously, Wotakoi Vol. 1 sounded like such a fun (and funny) series to check out. I dove in without reading too much about it because I wanted to be surprised.
Manga Monday: Gachiakuta Vol. 2
I was too curious about Gachiakuta to pass up the second volume! The first volume introduced us to an interesting character and a dangerous world. The second volume? Well, it lets us see more of the stakes and the situation Rudo has fallen into (literally).
Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 11
I went into Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 11 feeling a bit conflicted. On the one hand, I'm eager to see where this arc goes! (Especially as the stakes are so high). But I was also a bit hesitant, as this is the last of Witch Hat Atelier until May (2024). I know it's not a huge wait, but still! I've gotten used to binging the series.
Manga Monday: Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! Vol. 2
Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! Has got to be one of the more unique series I've read (side note: Yes, I've heard of Delicious in Dungeons, it's on my list). I love the strange balance this series has struck between fantasy, food, monsters, and romance.
Manga Monday: She’s My Knight Vol. 2
She's My Knight Vol. 2 was and wasn't everything I expected from this sequel. Let me break that down into two parts. First, it absolutely continues the cutesy and funny romantic plot introduced in the last volume.
Series Binge: Fire Force Vol. 11
After the intensity from the last volume, it's kinda nice that Fire Force Vol. 11 was a bit more relaxed and chill. Better yet – it even had a comical (and fair-is-fair moment!), so I can't complain about that.
Manga Monday: Gazing at the Star Next Door Vol. 1
Aww. Gazing at the Star Next Door Vol. 1 is such a cute start to this series! If you love friends-to-lovers romances, you've got to check this one out! I think this will be a slow-burn romance, but only time will tell.
