Manga Monday: Gachiakuta Vol. 1

Oh! What an interesting start to a new series! Gachiakuta Vol. 1 kicks off a new series by Kei Urana, who happened to apprentice under Atsushi Okubo. Obviously, I had to give his work a try! Thus far, I'm not disappointed.

Manga Monday: Dandadan Vol. 2

I have to admit that I'm enjoying this series way more than I expected! Dandadan Vol. 2 is just as funny as the first volume, but with a few new twists and complications to throw into the mix (like they didn't have enough to deal with!).

Manga Monday: Bocchi the Rock! Vol. 1

Oh dear. Poor Hitori is soo shy. I just want to hug and protect her (but that would probably make her freak out, so I wouldn't actually do that). Bocchi the Rock! Vol. 1 is a gentle start to the series, introducing us to our primary character, her new friends, and the situation she's made for herself.

Manga Monday: Dandadan Vol. 1

Dandadan Vol. 1 is a chaos-fueled blast, and I am here for it. This volume is a lot, and I mean that, mostly in a good way! We have a quick rundown of the characters and their backstories, and then we're off to the races!

Manga Monday: Wolf Girl and the Black Prince Vol. 1

Okay, so there's a lot to unpackage in Wolf Girl and the Black Prince Vol. 1. I can see why people have either a love or hate relationship with the series (and I'm only one volume in!). The good: there are a lot of fun romantic tropes in here (enemies-to-lovers, fake boyfriend, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, etc.).
