I know I’ve said this before, but if you’re looking for a sweet and relaxing series, check out A Condition Called Love. It’s casual, it’s cute, and you don’t need to worry about becoming totally overtaken by the series.
Review: Dandadan Vol. 8
Every volume, I’m blown away by how creative this series is. Dandadan Vol. 8 does not disappoint. It’s another chaoticly fun addition to the series, and I loved every second of it. I don’t know how Yukinobu Tatsu keeps surprising readers, but he does!
Manga Monday: Miss Miyazen Would Love to Get Closer to You 1
Miss Miyazen Would Love to Get Closer to You 1 is a classic high school romance in many ways. We have two oblivious main characters who desperately want to chat - but can’t quite make it work. Sound familiar? We’ve all probably been there.
Review: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 12
Wow. I think that, against all odds, Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 12 managed to up the ante. This volume is intense, ominous, and fascinating all in one. That said, if you’re not a fan of leeches…uh, maybe ask for a few spoilers.
Manga Monday: My Noisy Roommate Vol. 1
My Noisy Roommate: The Roof Over My Head Comes With Monsters and a Hottie Vol. 1 may just win the award for the longest title I’ve read (this month). It’s a mouthful. That said, it’s also an entertaining series!
Review: The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 11
Oh wow. Every volume of The Apothecary Diaries somehow makes me fall further in love with the series. An impressive feat, considering I loved it from the start! The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 11 is essentially all about Jinshi and the past.
Manga Monday: Ashita no Joe: Fighting for Tomorrow 1
Over the years, I’ve learned that I’m terrible at reading/watching a lot of the classics. You know, the stories that affect pop culture for years to come? I’m trying to remedy that. So here I am reading Ashita no Joe: Fighting for Tomorrow 1. I should probably plan on checking out the anime, too, right?
Review: The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 10
Ohhh! Things are getting interesting in The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 10. I love that we’re diving into a new collection of mysteries (that may or may not be tied into the first set; who knows?). It’s so perfect for this series.
Manga Monday: A-DO 1
I don’t know why, but while I was reading A-DO 1, I felt like this story I should have read/heard about ages ago (like when I first got into manga). Either it just has that vibe, or this is a new translation of a classic. I could see it going either way.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions, Vol. 2
I have meant to read My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions for WAY too long, so I’m happy to dive back into this series. It’s just as fun and chaotic as I remembered, offering light entertainment to balance out the heaviness of the current MHA arc.
