Miles Morales’ quest to repair the Web of Life continues in Spider-Verse #5. This time around, his quest brings some immediate results – and some fantastic news. A fan favorite of the Spidersonas is back once again, and his story is one we’re going to want to hear.
From the moment I first saw the cover of Hovergirls, I knew I had to read it. The artwork looked so fun and captivating; it gave me a lot of hope for the characters and story within.
Another endearing and slow-burn romance! My Ultramarine Sky is very genuine and sweet, as two teenagers realize their friendship is actually something more. You love to see it happen (especially when it goes well).
Okay, The Way of the Househusband Vol. 7 may have one of the funniest (if shortest) bits thus far. I was crying and laughing, which was only the beginning of this volume! This is proof that the series is holding onto that charm.
Life hasn't been the same for Jinwoo—not since he woke up in the hospital. Solo Leveling Vol. 2 continues his antics and leveling experience, but perhaps not in the way readers might expect! Side note: My binge-read of Solo Leveling is partially a re-read. I don't remember where I left off, so I'm just starting at the beginning.
Spider-Verse #4 continues throwing Miles Morales on his quest to save the Web of Life. So far, we’ve seen Miles jump from universe to universe, helping out the other Spidersonas out there in an attempt to find balance.
I've read most of the stories collected in Captain Marvel: Game On, but I clearly missed one or two! As such, I was thrilled to sit down and read them all. This is the volume to read if you love Carol, Flerkins, or fun chaos!
I love checking out new graphic novels by creatives I (personally) have never heard of. Wolfpitch was a unique and entertaining delight, with the perfect blend of music, paranormal elements, and compelling characters.
How to Treat a Lady Knight Right Vol. 1 is the first in a new (to me) series about a lady knight and her scarred nature. I mean that in many ways, as she carries more than physical scars. It's a fine balance of humor and romance, with just a touch of fan service on the side.
If you've been wanting to see more of the towns/cities in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, this volume is perfect for you! Not only does Rimuru have to travel around a lot, but it gives us the chance for a few one-on-ones with different characters.
