Spider-Verse #4 continues throwing Miles Morales on his quest to save the Web of Life. So far, we’ve seen Miles jump from universe to universe, helping out the other Spidersonas out there in an attempt to find balance.
I've read most of the stories collected in Captain Marvel: Game On, but I clearly missed one or two! As such, I was thrilled to sit down and read them all. This is the volume to read if you love Carol, Flerkins, or fun chaos!
I love checking out new graphic novels by creatives I (personally) have never heard of. Wolfpitch was a unique and entertaining delight, with the perfect blend of music, paranormal elements, and compelling characters.
How to Treat a Lady Knight Right Vol. 1 is the first in a new (to me) series about a lady knight and her scarred nature. I mean that in many ways, as she carries more than physical scars. It's a fine balance of humor and romance, with just a touch of fan service on the side.
If you've been wanting to see more of the towns/cities in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, this volume is perfect for you! Not only does Rimuru have to travel around a lot, but it gives us the chance for a few one-on-ones with different characters.
Full transparency: I originally read a lot of Solo Leveling on Tapas. I'm now rereading it in preparation for diving into the anime adaptation. I figure it'd be fun to read through the actual volumes and see how they break up the arcs!
And so Miles’ slightly chaotic journey to save the Web of Life continues in Spider-Verse #3. This time around, Miles is meeting up with another ally of his. Ones that fans of the movies will certainly recognize – and probably squeal over.
I'll be honest with you: Captain Marvel Vol. 1: The Omen wasn't what I expected. Though I don't entirely know what I was expecting (maybe more politics? The whole gala vibe is probably the reason for that).
I'm not gonna lie – I've been meaning to dig into Nothing Special for WAY too long. So, obviously, I was thrilled when I saw that Nothing Special Vol. 1 was on the publication lineup. It's the perfect excuse to get caught up (in theory).
What a unique concept! Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! Vol. 1 is a quirky and sometimes hilarious start to the series. I can't wait to get to know the characters more, as there is so much potential in this romantic comedy.
