Review: Dandadan Vol. 14

The invasion arc has been going on for a hot minute, though maybe it just feels that way to me because I’ve had to wait volume by volume. Anyway, Dandadan Vol. 14 dives right back into the thick of things, and I feel like it’s all finally starting to wrap up. And yes, I am still looking forward to seeing this all play out in the anime. It’s going to look spectacular.

Review: Dandadan Vol. 12

Man, Dandadan always finds new ways to up the ante, I’ll give it that! Dandadan Vol. 12 is a heavy-hitting volume that isn’t afraid to push each character to their limit. There’s an alien invasion in the works, everyone is at their limit, and both grandmas are too far away to help. That could spell disaster, right?

Review: The Great British Bump-Off

Okay, so I’m a huge fan of John Allison and Max Sarin. I also adore Agatha Christie and the Great British Baking Show, so I was primed to love this series from the start. As such, I might be biased when I say that The Great British Bump-Off was a hilarious read.

Review: Spy x Family Vol. 13

Whew. After that cliffhanger ending, I was biting my nails while waiting for Spy x Family Vol. 13! It was a rough wait, but it was pretty worth it. This volume quickly wraps up all that tension before throwing readers into a few slice-of-life style chapters, which is a refreshing break from all the rushing around.

Review: Dandadan Vol. 10

Ah, yes, I missed the chaos of this series. Dandadan Vol. 10 continues a familiar story but throws many new twists in the mix. Starting with Vamola (introduced in the last volume, I believe), plus a new supernatural problem, courtesy of a curse and a mirror.

Review: I Hate Fairyland Vol. 2: Fluff My Life

Oh wow, I Hate Fairyland is such an amazing series. I’ve really been missing out these past few years! I Hate Fairyland Vol. 2 is as funny as the first, though in different ways. The first volume was all about Gert’s attempt to get out of fairyland, whereas the second volume…well, her adventure has changed.

Review: Dandadan Vol. 9

Man, I really love Dandadan. This series has quickly become one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite of all time. I wasn't expecting that, but I'm also not complaining. Dandadan Vol. 9 is another out-of-pocket addition to the series, and I'm here for it.

Review: Fowl Language: Tweenage Wasteland

Fowl Language has done it again! Tweenage Wasteland was a hilarious and delightful read from start to finish. As always, the comics are short, sweet, to the point - and very relatable. As I mentioned in the summary, it doesn’t matter if you’re a teen now or were a teen once; the content is gold (In reality, it’s undoubtedly even funnier for parents of teens).
