Review: American Vampire Vol. 4

American Vampire Vol. 4 is pretty drastically different from the previous three volumes, but I don’t hate that. Once again, this series is full of surprises! This is the last volume I read during my binge session, so I’ll have to line up the next few soon.

Throwback Thursday: West Coast Avengers Vol. 1: Best Coast

The West Coast Avengers is a newly formed team, using an older name from the world of Marvel. The team itself is…unexpected, but actually ends up being a lot of fun. This series continues to surprise me with the twists and turns it takes. Every time I think we’ve seen every character in the series, new ones come flying out of nowhere. Well, not nowhere, but you get what I mean.

Throwback Thursday: Jessica Jones: Alias Vol. 1

Review: American Vampire Vol. 2

American Vampire Vol. 2 continues to weave a compelling tale of vampires, politics, and corruption. That said, it has not gone the way I expected, and I’m not mad about that. I do love it when a series surprises me.

Review: A Wizard of Earthsea: A Graphic Novel

If you’re looking for a more visual version of A Wizard of Earthsea, this graphic novel adaptation is perfect for you. A Wizard of Earthsea is a classic fantasy tale for a reason, so even if you’ve never read the original, you’ve probably seen its influence in many other tales.
