Thor has been forced to deal with quite a lot in recent years, and it seems Thor #4 will continue that tradition. Here, we have a god who has lost an arm, gone through the trials (and loss) of worthiness, and even a War of the Realms. Now, he's facing a completely different sort of threat.
WOTN Review: Thor #3 (Marvel)
The latest run of Thor has provided us with a God of Thunder who has undergone many changes. He now has more mantles than ever to carry, yet it seems like his battle is far from over. At least, not if Thor #3 has anything to say about it.
WOTN Review: Thor #2 (Marvel)
The long-awaited Thor #2 is finally here, and fans have been discussing this issue. This new series has handed off control to a new creative team, and they’re already taking massive risks with Thor’s character. It’s an exciting time.
Review: Suitor Armor, Volume 1
How did I not hear about Suitor Armor sooner? I’ve only read the first volume of this series, and I am 100% hooked. I need more, and I need it now (thankfully, it is originally a webcomic, so I can dive right in).
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 9
Jinwoo Sung has a reputation among the other hunters and dungeon adventurers – he's known as the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind. However, one job changed everything. It should have been a regular dungeon, but it quickly became life-or-death. Somehow Jinwoo survived – but he's forever changed. Now, he's working hard to level up and change the game.
WOTN Review: Thor #1 (Marvel)
A new creative team at the helm of Thor #1 means some major changes are on the way. It's been a long time since somebody other than Jason Aaron has written Thor's plot, and it's safe to say that fans have been curious to see what Donny Cates will bring to the series.
Review: Attaboy
Attaboy is both wholly nostalgic and unique, all in one go. While the storytelling style (and art) is very original, the overall story is designed to resonate with fans. It succeeded! At least with this fan.
Review: We Called Them Giants
Oph. I knew that whatever Kieron Gillen wrote next would be a total gut punch, and I was right. We Called Them Giants is short yet highly emotional, with our characters left to face the unknown and worse.
Review: Villains Are Destined to Die Vol. 4
Ahhhh! Where has this series been all of my life? But seriously, I’m loving Villains Are Destined to Die. It’s a darker isekai, but I think it works well. I’m always on the edge of my seat, uncertain about what the world will throw at Penelope next.
WOTN Review: The Tower in the Sea
The Tower in the Sea is the latest graphic novel showcasing the stunning world of Ismyre. Here is a world where seers and ordinary magic are commonplace – yet for many, it is still an illegal subject to teach or learn. Not that this has ever stopped anybody.
