Miles Morales’ quest to repair the Web of Life continues in Spider-Verse #5. This time around, his quest brings some immediate results – and some fantastic news. A fan favorite of the Spidersonas is back once again, and his story is one we’re going to want to hear.
From the moment I first saw the cover of Hovergirls, I knew I had to read it. The artwork looked so fun and captivating; it gave me a lot of hope for the characters and story within.
Spider-Verse #4 continues throwing Miles Morales on his quest to save the Web of Life. So far, we’ve seen Miles jump from universe to universe, helping out the other Spidersonas out there in an attempt to find balance.
I've read most of the stories collected in Captain Marvel: Game On, but I clearly missed one or two! As such, I was thrilled to sit down and read them all. This is the volume to read if you love Carol, Flerkins, or fun chaos!
I love checking out new graphic novels by creatives I (personally) have never heard of. Wolfpitch was a unique and entertaining delight, with the perfect blend of music, paranormal elements, and compelling characters.
And so Miles’ slightly chaotic journey to save the Web of Life continues in Spider-Verse #3. This time around, Miles is meeting up with another ally of his. Ones that fans of the movies will certainly recognize – and probably squeal over.
I'll be honest with you: Captain Marvel Vol. 1: The Omen wasn't what I expected. Though I don't entirely know what I was expecting (maybe more politics? The whole gala vibe is probably the reason for that).
Spider-Verse #2 continues the quest that Miles has been thrown into – albeit slightly involuntarily. But when the web needs a hero, it will find one. And this time, it's Spider-Ma'am and her allies that have been thrown into the mix.
Wow. There's a lot to unpack from She-Hulk Vol. 4. We have hero-drama, friend-drama, relationship-drama, and even Hulk-drama. Drama is apparently the name of the game in this volume, and that's a bit of good and bad.
So, there are many reasons why I wanted to read X-23 Vol. 1. The two dominant reasons are this: X-23 is my favorite X-Men, and Marjorie Liu is one of my favorite authors. This is a bit of a match made in heaven for me. I'm surprised I hadn't previously read it (my comic TBR is so out of control).
