Hooolly cow. There's a lot to process after finishing Once Upon a Time at the End of the World Vol. 2. First, let's just say that this series does not pull punches. Given that Jason Aaron is at the helm, that's actually not all too surprising. But it is worth noting.
Once again, fans are delivered with a complex reading experience, thanks to Invincible Vol. 8. There is so much going on at any given time it makes it impossible for readers to predict what will happen next.
Something Is Killing the Children #4 continues the dark and disturbing tale of a town plagued by monsters. But as with many monsters, only the children they hunt can see them. That’s where Erica Slaughter comes into play.

I know I'm a bit late to the scene, but I am really enjoying binging Wynd's story. Wynd Book Two: The Secret of Wings is a thrilling and sometimes terrifying read, proving how compelling the characters have become quickly.
So, I've had the Cemetery Girl Trilogy on my list for FAR too long. I'm thrilled to finally be getting to it – because, thus far, I'm loving it. The Pretenders is a dark beginning to Calexa's tale, but it's hard not to get invested in it.
Something Is Killing the Children #3 brings us back to a world in which monsters are real. And they have a taste for children. Naturally, this is a dark and gory series, but isn't without hope. Even if that hope rests on the shoulders of a gruff young woman.
