Did you binge through Star Trek: Picard and find yourself wanting more? If so, then this graphic novel is probably perfect. It's not the same as getting a second season, but it'll help pass the time as we anxiously await all news.
Manga Monday: My Clueless First Friend Vol. 1
I have to admit, My Clueless First Friend Vol. 1 is a pretty cute series. It has the perfect balance of cute, funny, and irreverent. We have a lonely little girl, a clueless dude (who may or may not want the powers of a Grim Reaper), and some unique secondary characters.
Flashback Fridays: X-Men Vol. 3
Once again, there's so much going on in X-Men Vol. 3 that it's borderline overwhelming. Thankfully, the writing and characters are so powerful that this isn't off-putting. Additionally, it ensures a plot for everyone (how could there not be?!).
WOTN Review: Stranger Things: Six #1 (Dark Horse)
Stranger Things has been jumping on board the novel and graphic novel train lately. So far, there are two novels out (soon to be three), and now there's a second graphic novel series in progress.
Manga Monday: The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 2
Okay, I'm officially hooked on this series. I'm going to request the entire series from my library because The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 2 confirmed it. This series is phenomenal, especially with Maomao at the helm.
Flashback Fridays: X-23: Innocence Lost
I remember reading X-23: Innocence Lost ages ago. But recently, I've been craving a re-read of all things X-23, so here I am! But seriously, this volume hits hard. Honestly, a lot of origin stories tend to hit hard, but Laura's is especially difficult to read.
WOTN Review: Stray Dogs #3 (Image Comics)
The dark tale continues as Stray Dogs continues in Stray Dogs #3. This series somehow found the perfect balance between Lady and the Tramp and Silence of the Lambs. It's compelling and highly disturbing all in one.
Manga Monday: Dandadan Vol. 3
The chaos! Dandadan Vol. 3 is even more chaotic (and fun) than the previous two volumes. That's saying something. Then again, I'm binging the series pretty hard, so I might be biased.
Flashback Fridays: Resident Alien Omnibus Vol. 1
Upfront confession: I did not read Resident Alien before the TV Series came out. It was actually the other way around. I watched (and loved) the show, so I wanted to see what the source material looked like.
WOTN Review: Stray Dogs #1 (Image Comics)
Have you ever found yourself hoping for a series that blends Lady and the Tramp themes with Silence of the Lambs? Well, good news! That is exactly what Stray Dogs promises. So get ready to cry, and probably get a little bit scared at times. You know, just in case.
