Okay, so I’m a huge fan of John Allison and Max Sarin. I also adore Agatha Christie and the Great British Baking Show, so I was primed to love this series from the start. As such, I might be biased when I say that The Great British Bump-Off was a hilarious read.
Review: Steeple
So, I typically try to avoid overtly religious tales because I don’t like getting certain themes or points shoved in my face. That said, I love John Allison, so I wanted to give Steeple a try. Side note: I read this series when it first released, in single-issue format. But I wanted to re-read it and make sure I didn’t miss any surprises or endings (I didn’t, I just want more).
Review: Birdking Volume 1
How did I miss this story when it first came out? No, seriously. It's so much fun. Birdking Volume 1 is a rich and dark fantasy world with interesting characters and high stakes. What's not to love?
WOTN Review: Stranger Things: Six #1 (Dark Horse)
Stranger Things has been jumping on board the novel and graphic novel train lately. So far, there are two novels out (soon to be three), and now there's a second graphic novel series in progress.
Flashback Fridays: Resident Alien Omnibus Vol. 1
Upfront confession: I did not read Resident Alien before the TV Series came out. It was actually the other way around. I watched (and loved) the show, so I wanted to see what the source material looked like.
WOTN Review: Strayed #1 (Dark Horse)
Strayed #1 is the beginning of a new tale from Dark Horse comics. It follows Lou, a gifted cat, and his owner, Kiara Rodriguez. Their tale is one that’ll be perfect for comic book fans and cat lovers alike. Oh, and did we mention it’s set in space?

Review: Stranger Things: The Bully
Most of the time, I really enjoy tie-in graphic novels and the like. That said, I feel like I could have skipped Stranger Things: The Bully and not felt like I was missing out. It is a bit of a "take it or leave it" sort of story; forgive me for saying.
Review: Avatar: The Last Airbender Chibis Vol. 1: Aang’s Unfreezing Day
Oh, my goodness. Did you know there's a chibi version of Avatar: The Last Airbender? Because I certainly didn't! Where has this been all of my life?! Let's dive into Avatar: The Last Airbender Chibis Vol. 1: Aang's Unfreezing Day.
Review: Twelve Percent Dread
I've been a fan of Emily McGovern for quite some time now. I first found her work through My Life As A Background Slytherin, but I really fell in love with Bloodlust & Bonnets (seriously, if you haven't read this, go do it now!). So, naturally, I was pretty invested in getting my hands on Twelve Percent Dread, her latest graphic novel.
