Review: Dandadan Vol. 12

Man, Dandadan always finds new ways to up the ante, I’ll give it that! Dandadan Vol. 12 is a heavy-hitting volume that isn’t afraid to push each character to their limit. There’s an alien invasion in the works, everyone is at their limit, and both grandmas are too far away to help. That could spell disaster, right?

Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 12

The end is near, and I don’t mean that in a doom-and-gloom sense. Solo Leveling is near the end of the series (though, by now, we all know that this was actually a prequel series). I’m a bit behind on actually reading the conclusion, but I’m getting there!

Review: Spy x Family Vol. 14

Spy x Family is one of those series I can count on to cheer me up, and Spy x Family Vol. 14 is no exception. I kid you not, this volume had me laughing out loud, especially when it came to taking a closer look at Anya’s grades. Also, can we all agree that Mr. Henderson would (probably) approve of this cover?

Review: Suitor Armor Vol. 2

If you are not reading this series, you’re seriously missing out. Suitor Armor is an enchanting series revolving around a fairy in hiding (Lucia) inside the palace walls of a kingdom very much at war with the fairies. Obviously, there are layers to this story, but it’s so fun and compelling all in one.

Review: Uncanny X-Men Vol. 2: The Dark Artery

Where the last volume introduced new characters and brought a different team together, Uncanny X-Men Vol. 2 took everything a step further. We still have our favorites on the team (have I mentioned how much I love having a Rogue-led team?), but things are morphing and changing.

Review: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 13

Every series needs a volume or two that wrap up previous plots, and for Witch Hat Atelier, that’s volume 13. That’s not a bad thing, as a lot has been going on. This volume helps to wrap up some loose ends from the current arc, while driving home the dangers of forbidden magic (duh).
