Review: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 13

Every series needs a volume or two that wrap up previous plots, and for Witch Hat Atelier, that’s volume 13. That’s not a bad thing, as a lot has been going on. This volume helps to wrap up some loose ends from the current arc, while driving home the dangers of forbidden magic (duh).

Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 11

I went into Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 11 feeling a bit conflicted. On the one hand, I'm eager to see where this arc goes! (Especially as the stakes are so high). But I was also a bit hesitant, as this is the last of Witch Hat Atelier until May (2024). I know it's not a huge wait, but still! I've gotten used to binging the series.

Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 10

Holy cats. How does this series find new ways to up the ante? Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 10 made me feel a lot. And I do mean A LOT. There's good and bad, but mostly, it's just a whole lot of anxiety as I wait to see what happens to Custas and the crew.

Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen #1

It makes sense that Qifrey would be quite busy in the kitchen. After all, he has a hoard of young apprentices to keep fed! That task is often easier said than done, given the variety of tastes and palettes he must work with on any given day.

Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 9

However, she has also been told that magicians are born, not made. Until one day, Coco sees something that changes her life. Now, she's a witch in training.

Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 8

Oh wow, Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 8 kinda gave me all the feels. A lot is going on here, and most of it will make you want to hug one character or another (or, you know, all of them at once!). It's the perfect addition to the series.

Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 6

Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 6 was a delight and a half to read. Seeing the underwater Great Hall for the witches was terrific! I wouldn't have guessed this one - though, in hindsight, I suppose it makes sense? Likewise, I enjoyed seeing a bit more of the magical society.
