Review: Captain Marvel #44

The Revenge of the Brood (part two) continues in Captain Marvel #44. This arc is killing it, if I may say so. I know, I know – I'm biased. But I'm happy to see so many of my favorite characters together (Spider-Woman, Hazmat, Psylocke, Polaris, Gambit, must I go on?).

Review: Ghost-Spider #4 (Marvel)

The tale continues in Ghost-Spider #4. Gwen Stacy, aka Ghost-Spider, aka Spider-Gwen, has finally regained balance in her life. She's now successfully juggling her social life, hero life, school, and band. And she's doing so flawlessly.

Review: Scarlet Witch #2

Have you ever wanted to see the Scarlet Witch duke it out in the dreamscape? Well, I have good news for you – you need to read Scarlet Witch #2! Thus far, this series has turned out to be everything I could have hoped or dreamed of (pun intended. Sorry, not sorry).

Review: She-Hulk #9

She-Hulk #9 continues the dramatic arc of Jen and Jack. We all know that things are going to go horribly wrong and soon. Yet we can't seem to look away. At least, I know I can't. I've got to see what's next.

Review: Captain Marvel #43

Annnnd we're off! By that, I mean it's time to dive into a new plot arc in Captain Marvel #43. As the title suggests (Revenge of the Brood), this is likely to be an intense arc, and I cannot wait to see how it plays out.

Review: Ghost-Spider #1 (Marvel)

Gwen is back! Again! This time she’s back with a new title and name. It’s something that they’ve been building for over a year now, but it’s still exciting to see it in action. Now it’s time for Gwen to rock the new Ghost-Spider name.

Review: Captain Marvel #42

One of the many things I love about long-running comic series is that they understand the value of palette cleansers. Captain Marvel #42 is set between arcs, meaning it's a little lighter and much less intense than other plots. In other words, it's a bit of a break in all the chaos that is Captain Marvel's story.

Review: She-Hulk Vol. 1: Jen Again

Let's all cheer for the latest volume of She-Hulk! But seriously, it's been a hot minute since Jen Walters got her own series, so I was thrilled to hear the news. The fact that they got one of my favorite cover artists (Jen Bartel) involved is just icing on the cake.

Review: Darkhawk: Airborne

As a HUGE fan of Darkhawk, I was so unbelievably excited by the news that the series was getting a reboot. Yeah, I'll be sad to see Chris go, but it happens, right? Plus, I already adore Connor Young. I've always felt that Darkhawk was a seriously underrated character, so it's nice to see him getting some much needed love here.
