Wow. There's a lot to unpack from She-Hulk Vol. 4. We have hero-drama, friend-drama, relationship-drama, and even Hulk-drama. Drama is apparently the name of the game in this volume, and that's a bit of good and bad.
Flashback Fridays: X-23 Vol. 1: The Killing Dream
So, there are many reasons why I wanted to read X-23 Vol. 1. The two dominant reasons are this: X-23 is my favorite X-Men, and Marjorie Liu is one of my favorite authors. This is a bit of a match made in heaven for me. I'm surprised I hadn't previously read it (my comic TBR is so out of control).
Review: Star: Birth of a Dragon
So, I read Star: Birth of a Dragonas when it came out in issue format. Apparently, I forgot to come back around and review the full volume! Forgive my delay. (Side note: you can read my individual issue reviews on Monkeys Fighting Robots.)
Flashback Fridays: X-Men Vol. 1
X-Men Vol. 1 is another powerful addition to this famous series. I think I read at least half the single comics in this volume, if not more. But I'm happy to have read them in this compiled version, and I look forward to reading the rest.
Review: Captain Marvel: Dark Tempest
Life hasn't been too easy on Carol lately. Just when she could really use a break, she finds herself thrown into a new adventure – literally. One moment, she was talking to a group of teenage troublemakers; the next, she was on a strange planet.
Flashback Fridays: House of X/Powers of X
Mutants have gone through hell and back over the years. They've had their wins. But for every win, they've had many more losses. Or so how it feels. Well, that time of loss and pain is over, as Charles Xavier has a new plan.

WOTN Review: Miles Morales: Spider-Man #6 (Marvel)
Miles is one of those characters that fits in well with many teams. So it's no surprise that Miles Morales: Spider-Man has had more than one team-up. This time, though, it's a character we're unfamiliar with.
Review: Young Avengers, Vol. 1: Style > Substance
Okay, okay, I've been meaning to read Young Avengers for WAY too long. I'm finally fixing that mistake by diving into Young Avengers Vol. 1. Thus far; I can already tell that the series is worth the hype (and the accidentally long wait).
Review: Dr. Strange, Surgeon Supreme: Under the Knife
Over the years, I've read countless comic series that have played around (or straight-up ret-conned) with a character's history or ability. I think Dr. Strange, Surgeon Supreme is perhaps one of the more drastic changes I've seen while sitting firmly within the core theme of the character.
