I have meant to read My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions for WAY too long, so I’m happy to dive back into this series. It’s just as fun and chaotic as I remembered, offering light entertainment to balance out the heaviness of the current MHA arc.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 37
Ahh! Being stuck in the middle of a MHA war arc means there are no breaks to be had! My Hero Academia Vol. 37 hits just as hard as the last volume, with countless heroes throwing their names into the mix and doing everything they can to save the day.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 36
Um. I think I need a minute. Maybe twenty. My Hero Academia Vol. 36 is A LOT. And I mean that in good and bad ways (but mostly good!). It's emotional, tense, and so very full of action. It's also fully showing off all the planning our heroes have done.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 35
Whew. My Hero Academia Vol. 35 is another heavy-hitter. There's no denying that. In truth, this volume made me gasp with surprise on more than one occasion...and I have a feeling we're just getting started! (This makes sense since the war is again gearing up).
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 34
Holy cats. My Hero Academia Vol. 34 packs a whole lot of punch. Well, it's more like punches, as there's more than one arc in this volume. We have the obvious – Star and Stripe. She's intense and exactly what this war needed.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 33
This marks the end of my re-read! I'm so stoked to have gotten to My Hero Academia Vol. 33, not just because it means new stuff (for me) will soon follow, but because I'm happy with the end of this arc.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 32
Every time I read this arc, my heart breaks for Midoriya. My Hero Academia Vol. 32 is one of those volumes that hits hard – though maybe not for the reasons you might expect. We see heroes at a desperate point, and it sometimes physically hurts to witness them.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 31
Whew. This arc hits HARD. That is especially true for the wrap-up volume, My Hero Academia Vol. 31. Horikoshi isn't pulling punches. To be fair, we're talking about an all-out battle between heroes and villains, so I wouldn't expect anything less.
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 30
The Heroes vs. Villains arc really hits all sorts of emotional highs and lows, doesn't it? My Hero Academia Vol. 30 brings us back into the fray, and the fight somehow keeps getting more intense. Better yet – more and more heroes (and villains) show up at every turn. I'm loving it (even though it is a re-read).
Series Binge: My Hero Academia Vol. 29
Man, even re-reading this series makes my heart pound! My Hero Academia Vol. 29 brings us to one of the most intense points in the series (which is saying something). We have so many students and heroes working together, and we have no idea how well it's all going to pan out.
