I picked up Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees on an impulse. The description and cover are so incongruous (intentionally so) that I knew it was worth reading. I was not disappointed. That said, don't dive into this book without understanding that you WILL be getting a woodland version of Dexter.
Series Binge: Dandadan Vol. 5
Another chaotic adventure! I'll admit that parts of Dandadan Vol. 5 were a bit more tense than usual (think of Momo's first encounter with the aliens, and you'll have a close enough idea). I didn't love it, but the stakes had to be set, right?
WOTN Review: Superior Spider-Man #8 (Marvel)
So, I think we all saw this coming. The major War of the Realms event has hit Superior Spider-Man. And it brought a temporary team for our genius to deal with: the West Coast Avengers. Obviously, fans of the now-canceled series will likely be thrilled to see their reappearance, no matter how brief it is.
Series Binge: The Way of the Househusband Vol. 8
It's time for more Yakuza, ahem, I mean househusband antics! I really adore The Way of the Househusband, and thus, I was looking forward to the next volume. I know I'm reaching the end of my binge, but I'm trying to make the best of it.
WOTN Review: Star Trek: Picard – Countdown
Did you binge through Star Trek: Picard and find yourself wanting more? If so, then this graphic novel is probably perfect. It's not the same as getting a second season, but it'll help pass the time as we anxiously await all news.

Flashback Fridays: X-Men Vol. 3
Once again, there's so much going on in X-Men Vol. 3 that it's borderline overwhelming. Thankfully, the writing and characters are so powerful that this isn't off-putting. Additionally, it ensures a plot for everyone (how could there not be?!).
WOTN Review: Stranger Things: Six #1 (Dark Horse)
Stranger Things has been jumping on board the novel and graphic novel train lately. So far, there are two novels out (soon to be three), and now there's a second graphic novel series in progress.
Series Binge: Fire Force Vol. 11
After the intensity from the last volume, it's kinda nice that Fire Force Vol. 11 was a bit more relaxed and chill. Better yet – it even had a comical (and fair-is-fair moment!), so I can't complain about that.
Flashback Fridays: X-23: Innocence Lost
I remember reading X-23: Innocence Lost ages ago. But recently, I've been craving a re-read of all things X-23, so here I am! But seriously, this volume hits hard. Honestly, a lot of origin stories tend to hit hard, but Laura's is especially difficult to read.
