Flying Witch Vol. 4 is every bit the magical and calming read that the rest of the series has been, at least up until this point. I'm assuming that will continue, but one never knows. If you're looking for an enchanting and chill read, this is the one to check out!
Flashback Fridays: House of X/Powers of X
Mutants have gone through hell and back over the years. They've had their wins. But for every win, they've had many more losses. Or so how it feels. Well, that time of loss and pain is over, as Charles Xavier has a new plan.
WOTN Review: She: At the Tower of All That Is Known (ComixTribe)
She: At the Tower of All That Is Known follows the deadliest bounty hunter in the galaxy. No, that is not an exaggeration on her part. She has earned that title, and she will likely continue to hold it until the day she dies.
Review: Heart in a Box
Emma's heart has been utterly broken. It feels like she'll never be whole again – like her life would be better if she felt nothing. So one day, a mysterious stranger appears and offers to take all her problems away. All she has to do is wish her heart away, and it'll be gone.
Series Binge: The Way of the Househusband Vol. 6
I feel like I've said this before, but The Way of the Househusband Vol. 6 may be my favorite volume of the series (so far). It's funny, endearing, and gives us the tiniest glimpse into the past. So it's pretty perfect as far as I'm concerned.
WOTN Review: Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider #10 (Marvel)
Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider has been building up to something since it started. You see, names are important. And sometimes, you need to shed a name to keep moving forward. That's something Gwen has been learning.
Review: Mirka Andolfo’s Mercy: The Fair Lady, The Frost, and The Fiend
Fans of Mirka Andolfo (Unnatural, Un/Sacred) will be thrilled to hear about her latest project, Mercy. It's a terrifying and thrilling new horror series full of vibrant (and memorable) artwork. One small town has been afraid of the Woodsburgh Devil for years. Yet only a small number of people truly understand the origins of the creatures – and why they plague the town so. Enter Lady Hellaine, a newcomer to the town, but one who has made effort to obfuscate her intent.
Series Binge: Fire Force Vol. 8
It's the twist we all knew was coming! But seriously, the building tension about Shinra's brother has been perfectly crafted. It made me excited to read Fire Force Vol. 8, to say the least.
WOTN Review: Spider-Gwen Ghost Spider #9 (Marvel)
Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider has been putting Gwen through the ringer; this latest issue is no exception. This series has focused on Gwen and her struggle to get her feet on the ground (or hands on the web) and figure out her path as a superhero in her own right.
Review: Spy x Family: Family Portrait
The characters of Spy x Family tend to keep themselves busy – and that means lots of chaos and adventures! Given that in a single family, we have a spy, an assassin, a telepath, and a (dog) seer, it makes sense that lots of...adventure will come their way.
