The end is near, and I don’t mean that in a doom-and-gloom sense. Solo Leveling is near the end of the series (though, by now, we all know that this was actually a prequel series). I’m a bit behind on actually reading the conclusion, but I’m getting there!
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 11
Whew. I did not expect some of what happened in Solo Leveling Vol. 11. I know we’re getting pretty close to wrapping up, so sudden stake shifts and twists shouldn’t be surprising, yet here we are.
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 10
So, there’s a lot to process thanks to Solo Leveling Vol. 10. It throws Jinwoo (and thus, readers) into the deep end of politics, and unfortunately for him, there doesn’t seem to be a politics stat he can beef up.
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 9
Jinwoo Sung has a reputation among the other hunters and dungeon adventurers – he's known as the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind. However, one job changed everything. It should have been a regular dungeon, but it quickly became life-or-death. Somehow Jinwoo survived – but he's forever changed. Now, he's working hard to level up and change the game.
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 8
I have to give it to the creator; Solo Leveling always finds ways to surprise me (even though I always feel like I have a solid grasp of the story). Solo Leveling Vol. 8 brings us back into the fold, but the world seems to be changing and changing fast.
Review: Solo Leveling, Vol. 7
Okkaaaay. It’s safe to say that the stakes have changed in Solo Leveling, Vol. 7. It’s no longer about Jinwoo trying to cobble enough resources together to save his mom. Now, it’s about Korea (and possibly the world?).
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 6
Time for me to dive back into the world of Solo Leveling! (Side note: I wonder how many volumes I need to read before I can watch the show without fear of spoilers? I’m afraid to look it up, thanks to the ironic risk of spoilers). Solo Leveling Vol. 6 brings us back into Jinwoo’s world, his dungeon quest.
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 5
I’ll confess that I’m still extremely curious to see where Solo Leveling will take us. What heights will Jinwoo reach before the end - and what event signals the end, for that matter? That made me eager to dive into Solo Leveling Vol. 5.
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 4
Whew. The power scale sure is shifting fast! I think Solo Leveling Vol. 4 may have upped the scales the most thus far. At least, it feels that way. Basically, once [spoiler ability] got unlocked, all bets went off the table.
Review: Solo Leveling Vol. 3
And so the danger/drama continues in Solo Leveling Vol. 3! Jinwoo is about to learn even more about his abilities, and the danger may very well put him in. Side note: My binge-read of Solo Leveling is partially a re-read. I don't remember where I left off, so I'm starting at the beginning.
