Let me start this review by stating that Mermaid Prince is not at all what I expected. Maybe that’s a little bit my fault, but the title, cover, and description led me to believe that I would get one type of story - one that was creative and playful. Instead, I got something that was fairly somber.
Miss Miyazen Would Love to Get Closer to You 1 is a classic high school romance in many ways. We have two oblivious main characters who desperately want to chat - but can’t quite make it work. Sound familiar? We’ve all probably been there.
Over the years, I’ve learned that I’m terrible at reading/watching a lot of the classics. You know, the stories that affect pop culture for years to come? I’m trying to remedy that. So here I am reading Ashita no Joe: Fighting for Tomorrow 1. I should probably plan on checking out the anime, too, right?

Flying Witch Vol. 4 is every bit the magical and calming read that the rest of the series has been, at least up until this point. I'm assuming that will continue, but one never knows. If you're looking for an enchanting and chill read, this is the one to check out!
