Okay, so I probably should have read the description a bit more before diving into After the Rain Vol. 1. Admittedly, I didn't love the plot right off the bat. Still, I did try to give it a fair chance, especially as they made it clear that the romance would always be doomed because of the age difference.

It isn't every day that you get to see a graphic novel based on a true story, so when Emma Dreams of Stars popped up on my radar, I knew I had to give it a try. Created by Julia Pavlowitch, Kan Takahama, and Emmanuelle Maisonneuve, Emma Dreams of Stars tells the story of a former Michelin Guide Inspector.

Manga Monday: Ciguatera Vol. 1

Do you know how sometimes a cover will make you stop browsing books and take a minute to read the description? Well, that is what happened to me with Ciguatera Vol. 1. The realism and colors of the cover instantly got me curious, and the description sucked me in.
