Manga Monday: Drops of God: Mariage Vol. 1
Drops of God: Mariage Vol. 1 is a different manga, at least for me. It's perfect for foodies or (especially) people who love wine. The core concept is interesting, and I loved rooting for the smaller family business to win.
Series Binge: Flying Witch Vol. 4
Flying Witch Vol. 4 is every bit the magical and calming read that the rest of the series has been, at least up until this point. I'm assuming that will continue, but one never knows. If you're looking for an enchanting and chill read, this is the one to check out!
Manga Monday: Cells at Work! Lady Vol. 1
It's time to dive back into the world of Cells at Work! Cells at Work! Lady Vol. 1 is a different perspective, but it has the same overall concept as the rest of the series. In other words, it's pretty perfect for fans of the series.
Series Binge: The Way of the Househusband Vol. 6
I feel like I've said this before, but The Way of the Househusband Vol. 6 may be my favorite volume of the series (so far). It's funny, endearing, and gives us the tiniest glimpse into the past. So it's pretty perfect as far as I'm concerned.
Manga Monday: After the Rain Vol. 1
Okay, so I probably should have read the description a bit more before diving into After the Rain Vol. 1. Admittedly, I didn't love the plot right off the bat. Still, I did try to give it a fair chance, especially as they made it clear that the romance would always be doomed because of the age difference.
Series Binge: Fire Force Vol. 8
It's the twist we all knew was coming! But seriously, the building tension about Shinra's brother has been perfectly crafted. It made me excited to read Fire Force Vol. 8, to say the least.
Review: Spy x Family: Family Portrait
The characters of Spy x Family tend to keep themselves busy – and that means lots of chaos and adventures! Given that in a single family, we have a spy, an assassin, a telepath, and a (dog) seer, it makes sense that lots of...adventure will come their way.
Manga Monday: She’s My Knight Vol. 1
I adore stories that can play with tropes and have fun. So naturally, I fell in love with She's My Knight Vol. 1. This novel takes many classic shojo elements (heroines/knights/etc) and turns them into a blast and a half.
Series Binge: Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 8
Oh wow, Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 8 kinda gave me all the feels. A lot is going on here, and most of it will make you want to hug one character or another (or, you know, all of them at once!). It's the perfect addition to the series.
