Harley Quinn’s chaos never gets old. Well, that’s probably not true. I’m sure I’d find her character very tiring if I knew her in real life. But I don’t! So I enjoy the strange brand of chaos Harley’s known for in Harley Quinn Vol. 1.
WOTN Review: Valkyrie #10 (Marvel)
Jane Foster has stepped into the role of the last Valkyrie, and she's done her job well. Now, in Valkyrie #10, she's facing a threat she's never seen before. Worse, it's involving those she considers friends and those she's sworn to protect.
Review: Hungry Heart
Okay, can I please have the authority to give an award for the cutest graphic novel? No? Bummer. If I could, I'd give that award to Hungry Heart. It was sweet, fun, and heavily character-driven - just how I like them!
Review: The History of Everything
Man, The History of Everything hits hard. If you’ve ever had a friend move away or even a fight with a friend, this book will feel so real to you. It’s basically about two friends doing their best to stay connected while finding themselves in the process. It’s a whole vibe.
Manga Monday: Miss Miyazen Would Love to Get Closer to You 1
Miss Miyazen Would Love to Get Closer to You 1 is a classic high school romance in many ways. We have two oblivious main characters who desperately want to chat - but can’t quite make it work. Sound familiar? We’ve all probably been there.
Review: The Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Vol. 2
Yikes. The Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Vol. 2 is an intense read, to put it mildly. The series is set in a normal-looking world - before it all changes forever. Now, the survivors are in a life-or-death struggle.
Review: She-Hulk Vol. 5: All In
I’m not going to lie; I’ve been curious to see how far the whole Jen and Jack arc would go. Naturally, I dove into my copy of She-Hulk Vol. 5. I just had to find out! This is She-Hulk, after all.
WOTN Review: Valkyrie #9 (Marvel Comics)
Valkyrie #9 continues the latest plot arc for Jane Foster, ‘The End of All Things.’ Now that Jane seems to have her footing with the Valkyrie mantle, it’s time to push things forward. And that means putting her up against a massive threat and a few surprises.
Review: The Kiss Bet Volume One
The Kiss Bet Volume One is a roller coaster of a read, from start to finish. I wonder what sort of chaotic adventures will happen in the second volume. (Yes, I know I could hop on Webtoons and read more right now).
Manga Monday: My Noisy Roommate Vol. 1
My Noisy Roommate: The Roof Over My Head Comes With Monsters and a Hottie Vol. 1 may just win the award for the longest title I’ve read (this month). It’s a mouthful. That said, it’s also an entertaining series!
