Summary:
In the world of My Hero Academia, approximately eighty percent of the population (and growing) have been born with quirks – unique superpowers. Midoriya is part of the twenty percent group – born without a quirk. He never let that destroy his dreams of becoming a hero, and look at him now!
The battle (er, practice matches) between Class 1-A and 1-B rages on! Each student is getting their moment to shine, and they are making the best of it! Now it’s Bakugo’s turn to fight…
Review:
This volume continues the plot from the previous one, with all of Class A and Class B separated into teams (but not mixing the classes together) and having them face off against one another. It’s a great way to see how Class A has improved and gives us a chance to learn more about Class B and their abilities.
There are a lot of great fights here. But the biggest thing? Bakugo seems to be actually growing up! We all knew it had to happen, but man, is it great seeing him take charge. Granted, he’s still got the same ‘tude. But that just means he’s proving that he can continue to be himself while progressing to becoming a hero. It’s actually pretty impressive.
