Interestingly, the stakes continue to grow in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Vol. 3. We know something dark(er) has been on the horizon for a few volumes now. And it feels like we’re finally starting to better understand what’s going on.

Likewise, we might just have a better idea of why it happened. Meanwhile, a lot of development is still happening in what was once a tiny village in the middle of the woods. Every new volume seems to bring with it new allies. I don’t know how far that trend will last, but it will be interesting to find out!

Honestly, the more I read, the more I can see why this series became so popular! At first, I was apprehensive about how OP Rimuru would become. And granted, that’s still a concern, but it’s quickly overshadowed by everything else.
