Summary:
It all started as a little bet. Each wanted to prove the existence of the supernatural to their new friend, and neither was willing to listen. This quickly turns to chaos as a haunted tunnel and horny aliens get thrown into the mix.
The stakes have never been higher. The team has been separated and attacked, and now the Earth itself may be in danger. They’ll have to find new ways to overcome these obstacles, as the usual means aren’t cutting it.
Review:
Wow, there’s a lot one could say about this volume! Dandadan Vol. 11 is full of action, character development, and more. It starts right in the middle of a battle, with Momo fighting for her life alongside an unlikely group of allies.
That kind of sets the scene, as one thing leads to another. Each member of the team is basically going through something right now, as they all are forced to acknowledge their limitations if they want to survive what is to come. Momo and Okarun obviously get the bulk of the realization/development, but don’t let that overshadow what the rest of the cast is doing.
Alongside the action, there’s still room for some drama, endearing moments, and a few dramatic reveals (of course). I don’t know where all of that is going to lead, but it’ll be fun to find out. I have a feeling that nothing is what it seems, but I could be wrong.
