Review: Secret Agent Deadpool #3

Secret Agent Deadpool #3
Publisher: Marvel
Released: October 3rd 2018
Rating: 4 Star

Ah Deadpool, you have quite the way of getting yourself into trouble, don’t you? Christopher Hastings continues this silly Deadpool meets James Bond mash-up, and while it has its ups and downs, I’ve really enjoyed it on the whole.

I think my favorite part, by far, would be all the comments from Deadpool’s new coworkers. They can’t get over how Burns is treating them like –gasp- actual human beings. That Deadpool is behaving like himself and just trying to have fun means little in this case.

In this issue Deadpool gets an opportunity to go after his new favorite arch nemesis, but of course it’s Deadpool, so things don’t go as smoothly as planned. Then again, it probably wouldn’t have gone that smoothly for Burns either. At least, I’d like to think not.
