My Next Life as a Vallainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! Vol. 1

Summary:

You know how the story goes. A high school girl wakes up to a new life – quite literally, for she’s been reborn as Catarina Claes, a villainess and spoiled daughter of a duke. In other words, a big pain in the butt.

Well, before our main character took her over, that is. Now all our Catarina wants to do is find a way to avoid her doom. Easier said than done, given all the potential paths to doom she’ll have to dodge.

My Review:

Guys, words cannot describe how much fun My Next Life as a Villainess is. My Next Life as a Villainess Vol. 1 throws readers into Catarina’s story, not holding back one bit on the humor. Of which there is a lot. And I do mean a lot.

Essentially, Catarina is a clueless main character desperately trying to avoid getting killed or exiled. I’m calling her clueless because she’s SO focused on this goal that she misses most of the clues around her, such as how the dozens of other characters feel about her.

This series has countless amusing points, such as the Council of Catarinas, whose only goal is to spitball ideas for survival (okay, and amuse the readers). These are probably some of my favorite moments.

My Next Life as a Villainess Vol. 1 introduces many of the main cast, including several potential love interests for our oblivious leading lady. This is perfect for Isekai and harem fans and an absolute blast to read. Oh! And don’t forget to check out the anime!

Highlights:

  • Isekai
  • Strong Humor
  • Clueless Lead
  • Dating Sim Game
  • Reverse Harem
