Review:

Okay, so I’ve been hearing non-stop about That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime for years (really! It’s already been over six years since the first volume came out). So I finally caved and read the first volume.

It isn’t bad. I know that often the first volume isn’t as strong as the rest of the series since there is so much to get through. So in that sense, I can see how this series will pick up in the future! I will have to keep reading to confirm.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Vol. 1 has a very tongue-in-cheek type of humor, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, I can also see the main character becoming OP quickly (maybe that is the point?). There’s also a fair bit of fan service, so steer clear if that is not your cup of tea.
