Review:
Oh wow. Even re-reading this series, this arc packs quite the punch. My Hero Academia Vol. 28 throws us back into the Heroes vs. Villains war, and it’s intense. We have countless heroes and students on one side, with villains on the other (obviously).
That summary doesn’t do the arc justice, to be honest. There’s a strong sense of determination—and sometimes desperation—behind the actions of our heroes. They know they’re on a limited timeline, and it’ll cost everyone else if they mess up.
Somehow, Horikoshi managed to up the ante in this volume. To be honest, there are moments in this volume I like to pretend didn’t happen (one of those “until it’s confirmed I’m covering my eyes” sort of scenarios). That said, it also gives one of my favorites a moment (both good and bad), so I’m thrilled. I can’t wait to continue my re-read!
