Summary:

Pan once had a very small life, but that was before she escaped and made her way into space. Now she has successfully helped rescue another Princess, joined a group of rebel gladiators, and is plotting to make even bigger changes in the universe.

There’s just one problem, as the powers that be don’t want this change to happen. And let us not forget that Pan has yet to track down the first Princess she helped save, her best friend, Tara.

Review:

I fell in love with Cosmoknights from the moment I saw the cover, so obviously I’ve been eagerly waiting for the chance to read Cosmoknights Vol. 2. This series is as stunning as it is heavy-hitting, and that makes it a perfect read for all sci-fi fans.

Originally, I picked up this series because it was recommended to me by another Locked Tomb fan (read that series, if you haven’t already), but it’s safe to say that Cosmoknights is no mere comp in my mind, not anymore.

Cosmoknights Vol. 2 picks up almost right after the events of the first volume, with the gladiator rebels trying to figure out the best course of action. They have a princess, no plan, and the need to go bigger.

It’s a lot to take in, and yet somehow they up the ante, as new battles (literally), enemies, and allies rise to the forefront. The story alone is wildly compelling, but the artwork does help take it all up a notch.

I honestly wish that there were more of Cosmoknights, because the characters and world (universe) are so compelling. It’s easy to get lost in the adventure, and I never wanted to see it end.

Highlights:

  • Science Fiction
  • Sapphic
  • LGBT+
  • Perfect for Locked Tomb Fans
  • Fighting the patriarchy (literally)
