So, I might have let too much time pass before reading Falling Drowning Vol. 2. It took me the whole first chapter to get back into the swing of things. So don't make my mistake! Or reread volume one before diving in—either works.
Review: Farmhand #10 (Image Comics)
Farmhand #10 concludes the second season (no pun intended) in the series and does so on a dramatic note. There’s clearly still a lot left to this story, so there’s no doubt there’s going to be at least one more season to Farmhand.
Tapas Tuesday: Master of the Fox Bead
Ahhh, I adore Master of the Fox Bead. If you're looking for a sapphic romance with a lot of quirks and personality, you've got to check this one out! It leans heavily on the forced proximity trope, with a bit of sunshine and grumpy thrown into the mix. There's also a potential love triangle and lots of mystical drama.
Review: Dega
What would you do if you found yourself the lone survivor on an empty planet? Okay, not the only one – you get to have a droid for company. That'll help, yes? Dega seeks to answer that question as our lead finds herself stranded following a crash, up against the dangers of an unknown planet – and the monsters within.
Manga Monday: The Transcendent One-Sided Love of Yoshida the Catch, Vol. 2
So I enjoyed the first volume of this series and thus went into The Transcendent One-Sided Love of Yoshida the Catch, Vol. 2, with super high expectations. Those hopes were slightly dashed, sadly, as this volume just doesn't hold up to the first.
Review: Farmhand #8 (Image Comics)
Farmhand has been an interesting series from the start, and it's only gotten more so with the most recent issues. The series has been building up to something significant for a while now, and we're very near the point where it'll all explode.
Tapas Tuesdays: Her Ladyship Objects to this Marriage!
Lady Kyriel has never been too interested in love or marriage. She's strong-willed, stubborn, and a commandant of the Altein Empire. While it is in the regulations that she must get married before considering a promotion, it's never been in her plans.
Review: Crowded Volume 3
I can't believe it took me a whole year to sit down and read Crowded Volume 3. This series has been an absolute blast, and I'm sad to see it go. But I knew the ending was going to be worth the read. If you haven't checked this series out but enjoy action, comedy, and drama, you're missing out!
Manga Monday: Love After World Domination, Vol. 1
Okay, Love After World Domination, Vol. 1 is a seriously funny and cute series. You'll probably enjoy this series if you love forbidden romances with a sense of humor and an overall light touch! Given how many dark series are out there, I appreciated this lighter read.
Review: Farmhand #7 (Image Comics)
Farmhand has been a fascinating, sort of biological, and slow-growing horror series so far. It's only seven issues in, yet countless questions have been raised during the plot's course so far.
