Summary:

Review:
If I weren’t already hooked on Secrets of the Silent Witch, this latest installment in the series would have sold me. Well, you could probably say that about each volume, because I’ve really been digging the series (obviously).
Secrets of the Silent Witch (Light Novel) Vol. 4 brings Serendia Academy (and thus the students) to the day of the festival. I think we all knew that it was going to be a chaotic day, but even I was surprised by just how much Matsuri Isora managed to tuck into this single volume.
To say it’s a lot would be an understatement. We have the mission as it stands, plus new layers of intrigue, some romantic drama (times ten), moments of friendship, character development, danger, you name it! I’m torn by which moment I think is my favorite, but seeing this world grow a little bit bigger probably takes the cake (for me).
There are a lot of hints in this volume, from potential teasers about what is to come to insight about secondary characters. In other words, if you want to theory-craft, this is the volume for you!
I adored everything about Secrets of the Silent Witch (Light Novel) Vol. 4 and cannot wait to keep on reading. Fun fact: the afterword mentions that the next volume is actually volume 4 2.0, because the author wanted more time with the characters. Gotta love that decision!
