Ahhh, I adore Master of the Fox Bead. If you're looking for a sapphic romance with a lot of quirks and personality, you've got to check this one out! It leans heavily on the forced proximity trope, with a bit of sunshine and grumpy thrown into the mix. There's also a potential love triangle and lots of mystical drama.
Lady Kyriel has never been too interested in love or marriage. She's strong-willed, stubborn, and a commandant of the Altein Empire. While it is in the regulations that she must get married before considering a promotion, it's never been in her plans.
Once again, My Farm by the Palace isn't a series that I'm entirely caught up on. But I'm working on it! This is such a charming and light series; it makes for the perfect comic to read right before bed (usually following some of the heavier comics I enjoy).
Okay, okay. I've been hearing nonstop chatter about Solo Leveling. And it makes sense; there's a TV adaptation on the horizon (I can't wait), and the writing is pretty solid. Though if I'm being honest, it's the artwork I love!
I want to call Who Made Me a Princess? A cute series, but it probably has too many heavy undertones for that to apply. Our leading lady has a lot of trauma in her life – both lives. But the good news is that she has an indomitable personality, which means she will win this world over. One person at a time.
Scintilla Desiderata Comics is one of my favorite comics, even if it is complete. It's fun, light, and has a dose of relatable humor. If you've ever dealt with mental health issues or an oddball cat, you'll be able to smile at the events that happen within this comic.
Cassandra Comics is a slice-of-life comic series that follows the one and only – Cassandra. The adventures are all very human, often revolving around hair humor/struggles and other relatable events. And, of course, it all has a comedic lens.
Essie Ash has always been able to see when and how people would die. It's not comforting to grow up knowing, but she's learned to cope with it. More importantly, she's found ways to save those she could. A gentle warning here and there can go a long way, especially when people know to listen.
Dina Demille runs an extraordinary inn that masquerades as a quaint bed and breakfast to those who don't know the truth. That truth? The Inn, Gertrude Hunt, caters to aliens visiting Earth. It's Dina's job to keep these guests safe while ensuring they break no rules.
The Little Trashmaid is essentially the Little Mermaid, but taking pollution into account. Tidy (the trashmaid, obviously) has many endearing and sometimes heartbreaking adventures with her two human friends. It's chaotic and primarily nonverbal, making it an approachable comic for all readers.
