Rating: 3 1/2 Star

Quick side story first; I’ve been reading so much of the Infinity Wars plots and subplots that when my husband saw Nebula on the pages his first question was; ‘who did she get combined with?’ which obviously started my brain off on a little tangent. When exactly does this plot fit in against the rest? Though I suppose you could (maybe should) be asking that question for all the series that seem unaffected. I’m going with ‘before’ for now, it’s just easier.

I still think this series has a lot of potential, but reading this issue I felt like it was ninety percent buildup. And even then the action that did happen didn’t feel like it actually had an impact on the plot itself (other than showing us the horrifying implications of what Nebula has been doing).

I hate to say it, but Nebula does bad well. She’s one of those characters I love to root for, the one where I’m always hoping for redemption. So it kind of hurts to see her acting out like this…but still, when she goes all out she really does go all out, doesn’t she?
